Mathematical Competencies Repository

Dear JEM interested parties,

thus far we have not found it so I am hereby launching the quest for a repository of mathematical competencies.

Once could say that national curriculum standards contain so but this is done a very informal way so we, in intergeo, are looking for something more repository like.

I do not quite understand what you want. There is a full description of PISA's interpretation of mathematical literacy, including competences, in Chapter 1 of the publication "PISA 2003 Assessment Framework - Mathematics, Reading, Science and Problem Solving Knowledge and Skills".

I think this remains broad-literacies... this is far from being close to mathematical concepts, for example. Curriculum standards are a bit closer there, since they generally say with what a given competency should be exercised.

So either you accept this as is and remain very broad and not very discriminative, or you try to go for far more precision with mathematical topics which can be made close to topics.
