Dear all,

before we get into such an exercise of bestowing the world with yet another repository, we should think about what JEM gets out of this. After all, people could submit to CNX directly if they knew that it existed. All we would gain from our own server (and that is a non-trivial thing to set up, but getting better) is to have things JEM-branded.

But if we had a set of teachers that are interested and we organized a training course that might be worth the effort.

CNX ought to be endorsed by JEM being AFAIK one of the most prominent examples of endorsement of markup in mathematics. Maybe a better question is:

Has anyone used cnx for his/her course? If so, will you link it to our JEM repository?

On a more technical note, how can one harvest Mathematics/Statistics and Physics courses from cnx?
