The organizing committee is pleased to invite you to the workshop Matemática a Distância no Contexto Ibérico (http://www.univ-ab.pt/mdci1/), 24-26 June, 2009, at Universidade Aberta, Lisboa, Portugal.

The goal of the workshop is to provide an opportunity for the exchange of experiences of distance learning and teaching of mathematics at the university level, with particular emphasis in the current praxis of the three Iberian distance learning universities (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Universidade Aberta, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya).

The workshop is also open to, and welcomes the participation of, mathematicians and researchers in mathematics education of classical universities using tools and methodologies pertaining to distance learning as a complement to their presential courses.

The workshop's official languages will be English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
