Mathematical note taking with ASciencePad
Sometimes you need a quick solution for notetaking. And when mathematical notation is involved, sometimes even LaTeX can be too slow. Enter two resources: on one hand, TiddlyWiki, "a reusable non-linear personal web notebook" and, on the other, ASCIIMathML.

MathML support in Word 2007
After reading Murray's blog and getting the invitation ID, I managed to download the stylesheets that should convert OOML to MathML2.0. Now I just need to figure out how to get these working on the parallels installation of Word.

Enabling MathML support on a Drupal-based website
To enable MathML support on a Drupal-based website, please do the following steps:
- In the databases, make sure that all the tables and the database itself have the collation
utf8_general_ci - in some cases for example if the Drupal installation was made over cpanel, the collation tends to be
latin1_swedish_ci - The collation is important for the system to be able to view special mathematical characters correctly, for example ?, ? and ?

MathML test
The posting tests the inclusion of MathML, using Peter Jipsen's script, as modified by me for usage in blogs and supporting CSS based rendering for example in Opera. Currently the script file is not on the server so is included inline in the body (which probably means CSS part doesn't work, as that needs to be in the html head, but this page does render in FF and IE)
