A meeting entitled The Future of Mathematics Education in Europe will take place in Lisbon, December 16 - 18. The meeting is a part of the activities related to the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union.

The aim of the meeting is "to arrive at the outline of an agenda for action for mathematics education" and to promote that agenda through various channels. Mika Seppälä will give a talk discussing the use of technology in mathematics education at the tertiary level on Tuesday, December 18.
