Firefox plugins
At times I wonder why people choose to use a browser instead of another, in particular, why should one use Firefox, besides for the obvious reason that it renders the mathematics in MathML natively. Then, one discovers a new plugin for Firefox, like Zotero, and the answer becomes so clear.

Of course, since so many
Of course, since so many peopl have trouble making Firefox's MathML display work right due to font issues, Internet Explorer + our MathPlayer plugin works at least as well. And it features Content MathML support and better accessibility through integration with screen readers.

Hi Paul!
It is great to know you are here. I belong to the Linux minority and IE is not an option for me, Opera would be and hence the dilemma. I was not aware of Content-MathML support in MathPlayer, yet again, I seldom work on Windows. Your point about accessibility is crucial. BTW, is there any RSS feed from Design Science that we could aggregate here on JEM?
Taking Bibliographic Notes.
Taking Bibliographic Notes.
I installed Zotero. It seems a great product offering an easy way to take bibliographic notes as one browses the internet.
Keeping up with the latest developments and being able to benefit from them seems to be almost a full time activity. I still hope that our group in Helsinki will, every now and then, be able to contribute a solution of our own.
My long term goal is to automate mathematics education or at least parts of it. In this process, we need to take advantage of whatever is out there and available for us. Zotero seems to be one such tool. The Zotero server, promised soon, will, most likely, be even better.
