The World Wide Web Consortium is presently meeting in Boston at TPAC 2007. For the first time it is possible to listen live to the Technical Plenary Day, taking place as I write. The W3C-Math working group met during the past 2 days to discuss several of the open issues of the draft spec of MathML3. The MathML-content alignment with OpenMath is going ahead and soon we will see the birth of the MathML3 collection of Content Dictionaries. These CDs will try to provide default presentation for the mathematical symbols using MathML-presentation. A library, mmlproc for transforming Content-MathML3/OpenMath into Presentation MathML is already under development.
