One of the goals of the JEM Thematic Network is to promote and disseminate best practices in the use and development of technologies that can enhance and support mathematics teaching. One vehicle for such dissemination is the publication of a repository of learning resources that may serve as inspiration to generate better materials and improve the technologies. The initial intention of JEM was to use a LOM-based repository of the resources, however, in the fast moving web world, such efforts, like MERLOT, pale in comparison to Web 2.0 approaches to community repositories like YouTube and Flickr.
