Olga Caprotti is the Network Manager of JEM and has been project manager of the WebALT, EDC-22253 eContent project. She works at the University of Helsinki since January 2005. She has been working in technologies for the electronic communication of mathematics since joining the European OpenMath Esprit Project (1997-2000) after graduation in symbolic computation at RISC-Linz. She has substantially contributed to the latest version of the OpenMath language and is one of the editors of the standard and of the primer. She is also associate researcher with the MathBroker Project II (2005-2007) at RISC-Linz, developing the infrastructure for implementing mathematical services and continuing the work done in the MONET (2002-2004) project and MathBroker I project (2001-2003). She is the secretary of the OpenMath Society and member of the W3C-Math WG and member of the Committee for Electronic Information and Communication of the IMU.
