Enrichement of UOC math content with formula verbalization system.

The development of that solution has include the development of new software pieces. It has also arosen the research about the good practice for content creation that allow extract the semantic meaning from presentational oriented content.

JEM related activitities.

• WIRIS Formula Verbalizer

  We have developed a tool for verbalizing mathematical formulas. Staring from scratch, but with the knowledge of WebALT project, we have developed a pilot of math formula verbalizer. the project has been developed in cooperation with the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) another JEM partner.

• Improving UNED virtual campus formula editor

  We have been working of improvement of the formula edition in UNED virtual campus. UNED virtual campus is moving from a WebCT campus to a dotLearn based solution.

• eyeWIRIS

  Development of eyeWIRIS, the Plugin connecting WIRIS calculation tools with the online Operating Sytem eyeOS www.eyeOS.org
