A learning object repository is a kind of digital library that enables educators to share, manage and reuse educational resources. Repositories rely on metadata standards. On the other hand, content based courses are no longer enough to describe the learning process, and it is necessary to include formal descriptions of learning processes and scenarios following learning standards.
