Lectures on iPod Touch
The Apple delivery center in Shanghai sent to me an iPod Touch -- proudly designed in California, manufactured in China.
This is a great device. Podcasting of lectures works like a charm. You may easily scroll the materials in the vertical mode. Turn the device 90 degrees to a horizontal setting and you can view the slides with great clarity. The fonts that I am using are very clear. Zooming in is easy if needed: just place two fingers on the screen and pull them apart.
Device like this multiply the value of the work we are doing. The attachments are pictures of a calculus lecture displayed on iPod Touch.

To make the slides readable,
To make the slides readable, without zooming, you had to scale the fonts and reduce the number of lines of text. Could you give some indication of what guidelines you follow now?
I the past I have used 18 pt
I the past I have used 18 pt Verdana fonts on my slides. These are still legible when a slide show is recorded and downloaded to an iPod Touch. However, my eyesight is not so good anymore, and I really prefer 24 pt Verdana on a iPod Touch.
Moving from 18pt Verdana to 24 pt Verdana means that slides must be redesigned. I do that if I have time. On a computer the 18 pt podcats are very well legible, of course.
