No sound on quicktime movies exported from Keynote

I am running OSX 10.5.4 with Quicktime 7.5 and Keynote 4.0.3 and found that when I exported recorded slideshows to Quicktime they did not include the recorded sound.

Without downgrading any of the applications, I turned off 'Exit presentation after last slide' under 'slideshow' in the Keynote preferences, and now everything works OK.

Don't even ask why this apparently unrelated option has this effect, but anyone out there with the same problem might want to give it a try.
