Purpose

The signup module allows users allows users to sign up to events on the website.

User settings

Registered users can signup on any upcoming event on the website, by default the signups close 1 hour before the event starts. The signup button appears on every event page. After signing up for an event, the user will receive a confirmation email. Also, the user will receive a reminder email 1 day before the event. The list of all signups shows on the users' My Account page, the signup can be cancelled at any stage.
