JEM Workshop at ICME2008

The activities of the JEM network will be presented during the forthcoming ICME11, the International Congress on Mathematical Education, in its eleventh edition to be held in Monterrey, Mexico, July 6 - 13, 2008.

This event is expected to gather between 3000 and 4000 professionals from 100 countries in the mathematics education area, including researchers, educators and teachers.

The purpose of the eLearning Mathematics workshop is to give an overview of the current methods, content and services for online teaching of mathematics at the high school and at the undergraduate university levels. Expected contributions to the workshop include hands-on-sessions were participants will be able to experiment with various tools and content. The workshop is organized as an activity of the JEM Network (Joining Educational Mathematics, eContentPlus Thematic Network).
