The Open University in UK has launched a reuse and remix competition based on their free learning resources, delivered as Moodle courses. The aim is to inspire creativity, collaboration and cost reduction in course production, enabling wider access to education for all. The deadline for entering is 1st October 2007. Mathematics free courses include differential equation, a workbook in PDF, complex numbers another PDF workbook. PDF is not easy to reuse and remix in mathematics: the best one can hope for is to create flash from it. Nevertheless it is worth for JEM authors to take up the challenge, so let's start thinking creatively.
